Varies from about 15 psi at idle (500 rpm), 30 psi at 100 rpm and 50 psi at 2000 rpm. All with hot engine running for about 20 minutes. All engine parts new, Melling high volume pump installed. original L99 valvetrain with high pressure reduce valve left and not plugged.
Your tick sounds normal to me. I have a GPI SS1 cam and mine sounds about the same. As far as your oil pressure, I'm not sure why it's so low because before I installed my Melling 10355HV I had 15 psi at idle and that was with the 10295. Mine now has 33 psi at idle when hot but I did plug my pressure relief valve in the pan. So I don't know if that had something to do with it or not. But I think that your ok especially with how your psi increases with your rpm. But my idle is at 7-900 rpm. Who tuned your car and what oil pump did you go with the 10296?
