This isn't because the unvaccinated are killing the world, it's because it's a mutating virus that will do what is necessary to survive.

We eliminated Polio because of vaccination. There wasn't the same pushback as there is today. If there had been, it would have mutated also. Same with the flu, there's so many variations because it's been allowed to get out of control. Same will happen with Covid at this rate.
