I wish I shared your optimism. I begin to care at $5.00/gal. I've never witnessed $6.00 but I'm thinking I'll be caring on a whole new level when, not if, that happens in Calunicornia. And as I said earlier, since war has been declared on fossil fuels, I can't say with any degree of certainty that it 'won't stay that way forever,'
