Hi Everyone,

I have a strange issue that just started 2 days ago with my 2012 V6 Camaro, 74,000 miles. More noticeable when cold but can also do it warm. When shifting between first and second, and also 2nd to 3rd, between 3000 and 4000RPM (or higher) as the RPMs drop slightly between gear exchanges it makes a dull metallic rattle sound from under the hood on the compression side of the exchange. It will also make this sound if I accelerate in second gear to about 4500 RPMs and then let the throttle off abruptly and as the compression is slowing the car down it makes this rattle sound. It almost sounds like a loose heat shield or maybe something in the exhaust system. Very worried taking this in to the dealership....$$$. Anyone else have this issue with their Camaro, in the V6?
