Ball hone & ring gap for nitrous

Used a 240 grit ball hone (flex hone) hit each cylinders for 35 secs and this is how they turned out does that look fine ? Its for my ls3

Also want to run a 200 shot of nitrous every here and there but car is my daily soo I emailed summit about my gap on my pistons rings and they said “ they would consider .024-.026 on the top ring and about .023" for the second ring”

Also when gapping piston rings for nitrous do they need to be cut a certain way or do they always need to be gapped squared and both ends need to be paralleled
