I like the idea of the bulkhead fitting. I take it you dropped the tank. If you drop the tank, you could even put some kind of filter sock on the other side of the fitting.

All the aux systems I see going in on Youtube, they just drill a hole and tap it for 3/8 npt. Then they put the fitting in with some kind of sealant. To me that is not a lot of threads to hold a fuel line for the next 20 years, but guys are running them successfully.

I like the idea of the dw400 in the ZL1 bucket. I was looking into how to use the Hellcat pump, but it's a good bit bigger than the ZL1 pump and you would have to mod the wiring for the significant increase in amperage draw.

I once tried to use a major manufacture's 340lph pump on a E85 600chp 427 NA build and ran out of fuel. It was advertised to support 700. They took the pump back, but what a pain to do that twice.

The dsx aux kit uses a NPTF tap and fitting. (sold separately). Its a dry seal thread. Used with their sealant, I had no issues. When I upgraded, I bought the right sized plug with NPTF threads, and its still in there now. No leaking.

I think its important to obviously secure the hose so the threads don't get loosened up.

I was worried about it too, but it was fine.

I would just go straight to a dual or triple in tank, though.
