The dual disc is discontinued. The did it because they are required to manufacture replacement parts for vehicles for a certain period of time I believe and they didn’t want to keep spending extra money just to manufacture one specific clutch for one specific engine that they don’t even make anymore except as a crate motor. Plus, if an LS9 owner replaces his clutch he is going with a aftermarket one for more power, I doubt any of them are looking for a OEM replacement. Most guys with max effort LS3s on here are destroying the stock LS7 clutch in 50,000 miles. Trust me, the LS7 clutch would get wore out on a LS9.
