If you are talking about changing just the disk when the clutch starts to wear out or you have the motor out, that is usually an option. It's getting a bit harder to find just clutch disks without a pressure plate because most people swap out the disk and pressure plate at the same time. You may also need to replace the flywheel or at least resurface it. It all depends on how bad the surfaces look. If it's already slipping, you probably will need a pressure plate.
