I used a really short ignition harness, and it looks like shit. I would get the longer one and find a way to route them, so they look good.

You dont really need the other ext harnesses, in my opinion.
If I remember correctly, the other connections are just tapped into the gas and clutch pedal harness. You dont actually cut the wires. So its easily removable.
