I don't have one at the moment, but it is on my list to get. I was going to get it on the 1LE when I was going to build it, and I am getting it on the Z/28. I never really thought or heard negative about the decrease in flow. I understand that it would, I just don't know if it would be affected that much. I would say that having supporting mods would help make it more efficient though. Like an oil cooler, 15w40 oil, all aluminum radiator, straight distilled water, etc. And to go to the extreme, go electric on the water pump. I'm not sure what your current setup is, but I have run both of mine in 90-100 weather without too much concern. It can get warm, but nothing that can't be cooled with a cool down lap.
