I have not had any oil pressure failures in the 3 or so years I have been tracking my 1LE. *knocks on wood*

But I am concerned about this as well. I heard some people had issues but it was due to heat/overheated oil or oil pump failure.
I am very interested in what the experienced guys have to say on this.

For the summer track season, I was advised by the folks here that 5W30 doesn't cut it on track and 5W40 or 10W40 is the way to go. But I am sure you already knew that.

Amsoil Zrod 10W40 is what I run now.
Right after a 20min run on a 90ish degree day, the oil temp will hit about 260 and the oil pressure at idle will be around 22psi. Coolant temp will be abut 210.
