Okok I know I know, but I'm gonna be here for a while since I really like the schools here. I'm not trying to deal with hot smogging...yet, so I wanted to ask. What can I build with my LS3 that won't get me state refed. I was looking for two things: parts that can give me horsepower gains without necessarily needing a tune (LS9 cam, maybe a CAI?) and if possible how could I get a tune that won't insta-fail me on smog (i.e. are there any hand helds that could do the job). I want to eventually one day get a CARB legal super charger but as of right now the wallet disagrees. Would like to know how you're suggestion would impact that if at all. Anyone else in California have a build sheet that I could take inspiration from? I'm mainly looking for anything and everything (exhaust, throttle body, cams, etc.) that could give me a little boost without violating state laws. I'd appreciate the advice.
