The Mishi kit is not intended to replace the OE cooler. I deleted my OE cooler and track temps were not good. I tracked my '14 1LE and did my own cooler using the same IR cooler found in their Gen5 Camaro kit. I didn't use the IR kit because their adapter wasn't going to work wit h my AFE Phadt headers. Otherwise the IR kit is excellent.
