Coming from an E92 M3, many folks from the E92 platform would upgrade to the M3 parts for relatively little cost. But my knowledge of Camaros is severely lacking at this point.

If you're just looking to save weight (and spend money), I think better bang for buck is replacing the stock bumper supports with tubular like these:
