1st:
SS 1LE front rotor: 14.6"
SS 1LE rear rotor: 13.3"
ZL1 front rotor: 15.35"

anyone who knows anything will tell you that the carbon ceramics like on a Z28 are better than iron for a few reasons at a few things.... period.
they are expensive and I'm guessing GM didn't want to add the cost to the 6th gens due to their cost or other unknown reasons.
the 5th gen Z28 is as special as the 1st gen Z28.
no other Z28s are as special as the 1st or 5th gen ones.
there were faster cars than the 1st gen Z28 at the time and after, but few pony/muscle cars are as iconic as that 1st gen Z28.
I believe the 5th gen will be the same one day.
I don't need to go into details why or how.
lastly, whenever anyone says the 6gSS1le is faster or as fast as the Z28 on a track, I only ever see them post 1 track time?
are there not more to compare to? I don't know, nor do I care to look.
Just an observation I've made.
