I tried, and failed, but I was also adding 3.91 gears. Lost patience with taking the diff back out to get the spacing and depth correct. Ended up, just buying a built unit from JRE. Not the cheapest option, but I know it's well built and will last. As a bonus I upgraded from 3.91 to 4.11 gears. Something to consider if you are not experienced with setting up gears. I've done a few on 4th Gens and they were MUCH easier.
