What rides did you own before your 5th Gen 1LE? I've wanted a 5th Gen since the 1LE was re-introduced in 2013. I'm impressed with the platform. It's a fantastic value especially when trying to modify older vehicles to more modern specs.

I built the 72 Malibu in 2007 using a cammed LY6 and Tremec TKO600. Fun car that put down a reliable 430 RWHP.

The 68 Impala was quite a project. I built it in 2015 using an LY6 and 4L80e. Dual ZL1 pumps with a PWM controller running E85. With the S475 turbo it put down 842 RWHP on 19 PS1.

I finally acquired the 2015 1LE. The handling, comfort, power, and sound was really what I was looking for. Just a really balanced and comfortable car. I can't wait for better weather.
