This is so true guys. How do we pass along the fun and interest in our car hobby if we treat all of these like works of untouchable art instead of as the cars they are?
I had a one-family owned 1927 Model T coupe that I drove to the grocery store and around town from time to time. People were always asking for photo ops with their kids and I always made the time for those moments. I was the only car at the one car show I did, that had signs all over that read, "PLEASE TOUCH". In a field of precious artworks roped off by big red rope and barriers, my car got much of the attention for the day.
