Motive made gears for Ford Racing for the 2005+ Mustang. A lot of them howled like a sumbitch even when set up perfectly with the correct backlash and pinion depth. Maybe they are worried they will have the same problem with making gears for the Camaro and don't need the hassle of all the returns!
