$20K /5 bucks/gal. = 4,000 gallons of fuel. At 24-ish mpg, that's still racking up 96,000 miles of travel. It's paid off and I've owned it a little over 3 years now and just turned 6K miles on it recently on a 1500 mile round trip. At this rate, I'll have a mere 26K miles on it in 2033.
And that's BEFORE you plug that EV in for the first time and pay for that electricity.
No thanks. I'll save money by keeping what I got. Gas would have to be over $20/gallon for me to have it make financial sense.
