New CatchCan Install with Vacuum leak
So i installed a new catchcan and immediately noticed a minor vacuum leak on that side.
Not enough to affect idle but noticeable to the ear.
I retaped and , reinstalled all the connections, no change.
Replaced the soft vacum line with steel braided fuel lines, no change.
-it goes away if i just isolate the entire catchcan and plug hose before the catchcan.
-it goes away if i hook up catchcan and plug in hole to catchcan
-BUT soon as i hook up the last hose that goes to pcv valve and valve cover, theres constant vacuum leak
Im now think its coming from the valve cover somewhere.
is carb cleaner the best aerosol based spray that will evaporate without residue to diagnose the leak?
any other ideas where to check or how to fix?
