Nah.. My M228's were the same way. Kinda heavy and the valve stem was towards the back. Had to cut the "skate wheels" off my new brake pads so they didn't wipe out my valve stems!! Can't see the valve stems, but these are what I had. Got them from MRR Designs.

I forgot about that! I did too. It was taking out my "color-coordinated" valve caps.
