First check and make sure you have freon if it's not working. GM uses a horrible design for their high side port which is notorious for leaking; uses a rubber ball valve instead of a schrader valve. GM actually recommends replacing their port every year though most of us went with an aftermarket port that uses a schrader valve. So before you touch the compressor or anything else trying to solve a leak, check this first. It would actually be in your best interest to go ahead and replace the port anyway.
