Yes. Mine will lock up at 55 cruising if I tap the upshift button and it locks the converter until I put it back in sport mode. I drive mine around town in traffic in manual mode, converter locked so I can keep the tranny cooler than being unlocked. My tuner set it up in what he called "manual auto lock", so that anytime I hit the downshift or upshift button my converter will lockup in what ever gear I am running in. Mine seems to lock up in manual or auto pretty quick too. That's what most tuners (and tranny's) want. Ever seen that wafer thin clutch material on the TQ converter plate? Last time I saw one it wasn't much. Hope they beefed it up for the 6L80. The ones I saw were way older pass-car transmissions.
