Small blocks were mouse motors and big blocks were rat motors. I was just too lazy to google all the big block configurations and small block configurations. I do remember a 400ci small block, though. I don't think it ever was a production, just bored and stroked 350ci, but I could be wrong. The small blocks had the middle exhaust ports next to each other (siamese) and the big blocks had them apart.

The Pontiac motors were more of a medium block, I think.

Edit: I finally googled: mouse motor small blocks were 262ci to 400ci
rat motor big block were 348ci to 454ci (crate motors went up to 572ci)
