Conti. Extreme DWS06 Plus
Hey guys its 2024 and am in need of new tires. I'm looking at the DWS06 Plus Conti's and am needing help with sizes. I have a 2015 SS 2SS 1LE with the factory ZL1 10 spoke wheels. They are 10" and 11" wide wheels. The crappy P-Zeros are 285/35/20 squared like always posted when this conversation starts.
However, I'm needing best advice on the tire sizes for front and back. I want a wide enough tire on rear to be flush with the rear fender as the current rears are sucked in about 1/2 an inch. (Can I stay 285/30 on the front and a 295/30 or 305/30 on rear?)
When I've asked others about their tire sizes they run, most are on aftermarket wheels with different sizes than I. Of course, tire websites do not help as it reports my 1le with a performance package, the tires don't fit. Doing calculation on Tire Size Calculator website, I've found 275/40/20 and 315/35/20 are perfect match with tires being same size outside of width being different.
So, who's running the OEM ZL1 10 spoke wheels on their 1LE, and what is the biggest size Conti's your currently running? Thanks for the help, and to all that have been on the forums for years, sorry if this is beating a dead horse. Later!!
