Super easy to have any exhaust shop cut out the huge factory resonator, and weld in a generic x-pipe, with extra piping to offset it to your liking/preference. I don’t know where the best place or what dimensions of x-pipes would be best, although I do know that certain brands like BBK and Borla, have pre-made x-pipe mid pipe assemblies. You can simply cut from after the j-bends past the cats, and the cut right before the frame exhaust hangers, located right at the rear axle differential.
I would preferably go with the mid pipe x-pipe assemblies, as they have better flowing x-pipes, it looks like; not to mention the piping is already pre-measured and set up to fit and be either clamped or welded on, without much issue(s). Do note that they’re usually NON-resonated; so, you might wanna look into maybe going with a mid muffler of some sort. Dual inlet/outlet mufflers of any kind will work; just depends on the sound/tone you’re after, since Magnaflow for example, offers an x-pipe mid muffler (common upgrade).
I would also have some small glasspacks or resonators welded in, if you end up wanting to still quiet down the exhaust system. I have 1-7/8” long tube headers, with off-road connections pipes, a non-resonated Borla Atak x-pipe mid pipe, and a Borla S-Type axleback setup. It’s a bit raspy up top after 4.5-5k+ RPM, but nothing super crazy. Just know that good quality, fiber-glass packed mufflers and resonators, will do the most work, as far as quieting down the overall exhaust..
