Installing it is a bit of a chore

I know some folks on here have installed the clutch return spring that Lingenfelter makes, I was curious if anyone had any tips to get the spring mounted into the bracket behind the OBD port. I fussed and fought with it a little earlier and just couldn't get it to mount for the life of me.

I installed mine about 10 years ago... forgot about it until I read your post.
I remember I got a good lamp at the foot well to get a clear, clean view and that helped immensely.
Then I had to muscle the spring in... somehow it became easier by moving the seat all the way back and then 'diving' into the footwell head first, kinda' up-side down.
Attempting to do it upright got me nowhere as I couldn't see the hooking points behind the pedal... but getting myself up-side down was quick & effective.
I'm on the light side of the scale, just about 155-165 pounds and have no previous history with my back (I do have a couple of collarbone and shoulder issues from my motorcyclist daredevil days though) so that might not work for you.
Just make sure you wear tight and dependable eye protection.
