So back on post 130, I eluded to there being more to the driveshaft safety loop as a larger project: servicing the transmission for the first time along with the standard "while I'm in there" upgrades.
After researching on here, Redline D4 ATF seems to be the flavor of choice. Picked up 6.5 quarts off marketplace for $30. I really like the quality of the Gold Plug magnetic oil drain plug I have, so I picked up one for the transmission as well.
The final part is the ZL1/Z28/1LE transmission mount. I'm excited to see if this makes a noticeable difference. I still need to get hardware for the driveshaft loop and I think I'm going to have it powder coated black. I also need a fluid pump and a floor jack so this will be a late fall/winter thing.
