Considering the LS1s weighed like 80 lbs. less than aluminum-headed LT1s, I don't see an LS3 as a monster, even if one adds another 100 pounds for a supercharger and all the ancillaries. Then it weighs just a bit more than LT1s from twelve years ago; that's not giving up too much mass. That's still comparable to DZ 302s to my understanding...

How in the WORLD would an LS9 Camaro not go for at least $60K? What - $20K+ for the engine; better driveline to cope with the torque, and all the coolers and crap so it won't melt to the pavement after a few laps. That's a nice dream though, IMHO.
