FYI, replacing the alternator is a PITA and I bought a new one off of RockAuto.com. And I thought my battery was going bad twice but it turns out that if they test the battery under the hood then it gives a false reading and AutoZone thinks it is a bad battery. The charging is normal from what you stated. Good luck and try and not to over think it like I did. Have a good day
