Just wanted to provide an update. I’ve done no further diagnostic work. I did replace my 2 year old ACDELCO battery and strangely it seems to have made a difference….. maybe!
So after the battery replacement the lights have seemed to have disappeared. I took the car out 3 times and the lights or Service Stability Link message has not come on.
BUT WAIT….. the 4th drive, all good up to going through my local roundabout. With the aggressive cam, it can be difficult at times to engage a smooth start from a stop in 1st gear. So I pull into the circle, trying to ease on in, and the car starts to buck a little. I work to smooth it out, it gets kinda ugly and then……. Yep, the lights and message pop up.
Of course next drive all is clear and good. So for me I am wondering if the CAM. Ay have something to do with it. I am planning to get the car up to JRE in the next month to dyno/test the new set up, so will discuss with them.
