TR-6060: offset shifter lever bushing replacement

You guys have probably seen those brass offset lever shifter bushing upgrades/replacements all over the internet, for the T-56 manual transmissions. The listings and descriptions will sometimes label them as being compatible with TR-6060’s, although no one has confirmed this. The factory offset lever bushing for the T-56’s also have an OEM part number, but I am having trouble finding one for the TR-6060’s, and knowing whether or not they are identical to each other.

Apart from the compatibility question, it seems that the brass bushing replacements are a hit and miss. Some people end up having to file them down or use a dremel, and then use a hammer or mallet to install them into the offset shifter lever. The factory plastic bushing seems to more or less, just pop out by hand, or with very little force with a pry bar or flathead screwdriver. I was thus debating a delrin bushing upgrade over the brass one; but again, I do not know whether the T-56 part is compatible with the TR-6060…

Since my trans is currently out, I figured I would replace the shift linkage assembly bushings as well, but I also can’t seem to find replacement parts (numbers) for those factory bushings either. Nor can I seem to find any aftermarket replacement for the rest of the shift linkage assembly bushings.. I don’t think my OEM plastic offset lever bushing is too worn, although the shift linkage assembly bushings have enough play to move almost a good 3/4-7/8” of an inch, side to side with the shifter. I have a Hurst Billet Plus 2 aftermarket short shifter, and have even installed the Hurst Pit Pack shifter bushing upgrade, so I know it’s definitely not the Hurst shifter bushings themselves.
