Hi folks I have a 2011 LS that I don’t know much of the history of, but it needs front brakes and the rotors it has on it are definitely not the stock LS sized rotors. The car has aftermarket rims as well (“ION” on the center area) and the rotors, although I can’t get an exact measurement, appear to be around 14” diameter. The tires are the stock size and the rims are 18”. The rotors are Definitely wider than the 12.64” listed for stock width.

Was the SS rotor size larger for these cars, and if so can I use those for a new pair? I realize taking them off and measuring them would be ideal but I don’t have space to do this myself so I have to buy the parts first before I take it to the shop. It appears the larger diameter rotors will fit since these look much bigger, but I’m just wondering if there is any other reason an SS rotor wouldn’t work with the LS models with aftermarket rims. If it’s just a clearance issue, it seems like these clear fine.

If anyone has SS (larger diameter) rotors on their LS/LT let me know.
