Wish I saw this post earlier. Yeah, the 14-15 special editions use a completely different "Ground Effects" appearance package, compared to the factory GM one, that was used on the 10-12 V8 SS models. I think they did come on '13 models as well, but were more of special order or separate upgrades.

There's a 2014 Spring Edition, which is similar to the Green Flash edition, with the exclusive appearance package/body kit and the 21" inch wheels. Lots of the Green Flash models usually come with a dual exhaust (NPP, bi-modal/active), so those can fit any exhaust; whereas the Spring Edition (or a more "basic" Green Flash version) comes with the "modified" version of the same rear bumper valence, which was made for the single exit, non-NPP exhausts.

You can still fit a 4-4.5" inch exhaust tip through the 14-15 "Ground Effects" rear bumper just fine, I'm sure. After all, they're made to run with the factory single exit, non NPP catback exhaust system. The 10-13 factory GM GFX was specifically made to fit only the stock exhaust tips. Whoever designed that original body kit, definitely didn't think about aftermarket exhaust systems, because all the exhaust systems for them, ended up just making an option where the exhaust tips were removable, leaving just the plain tail pipes.
