I like the PHX area, particularly the east valley. Sure it's hot AF 4-5 months a year, but the air is dry.

Check out Greenville, SC. I have family there and love the area. However, it's humid AF, rains a lot, and can get chilly during winter (from a desert dwellers perspective).

Edit: Forgot to mention that Greenville and the surrounding area is twisty back road heaven. I stayed there for around 6 months when I had an ae86 corolla GTS, and the pleasure cruises were a 10/10.
