I kept the FPCM in place and used the power output for my fuel pump relays. This allows the pump to prime with turning the key on. But more importantly it keeps the safeties in place that cut power in case of an accident.

I attached a sketch of how I laid out the relays for a triple pump setup with two Hobbs switches. I'd have to see if I can find the posts here, but I want to say the signal was the green with white stripe wire.
