Alright so bit of an update
I Have the 43DS series fronts and rear, which the fronts have the tweeters built in to the fronts. I disconnected the original tweeters cause it sounded bad. I have the kicker 47Key200.4 amp. Did the dsp self tunning.
XM radio now sounds like total crap, very chaotic sounding kinda muffled and also worse than an old cassette tape quality. Basically XM for me is now intolerable.
If I play music on my phone the quality does improve significantly especially with rap and hip hop genre over rock.
Now one shop told me that putting component speakers in the front will make it way better but I don’t know if that would make the quality of XM improve really?
The gain on the amp is almost all the way down maybe like 7%-10% active since the amp already sets it own tuning.
So if anyone has any input on this that would be great. I just miss listening to Octane on XM.
