I've had my QTP low profile cutouts on the car for about 5-6 years now, and zero issues! I open them up just about every time I go out. The part that makes them leak is the carbon build up on the inside lip where the butterflies sit against when closed. I do a monthly cleaning on mine and clean the insides and flanges and spray them with WD40 to keep them clean and moving properly. Good so far.
