To me, a replacement means the Camaro is being replaced by something else to fill the void.
Hopefully, they learned their lesson with the over priced Chevy SS and the should know full well that a rear wheel drive V8 with four doors can fail miserably no matter what it replaces if not done right.
All wheel drive tech is definitely the way to go if they are listening.
This article is encouraging, but has enough gray area to warrant considerable amount of caution before getting your hopes up.
Overpriced Chevy SS??

I could have had a 2016 Chevy SS for $15k less then what I paid for my 2016 Camaro 2SS. The car was an absolute screaming deal. V8 Sedan with Luxury features for $35k-$40k all day long at the time.

I suspect that there will be a 4 Door Camaro option - it makes the most sense given the current Alpha chassis and production capabilities of LGR.
