I know that’s the opposite for the Mustang and I suspect it’s because the Mustang appealed more to the casual sports car buyer versus the hardcore performance buyer who was willing to overlook the Camaros significant short comings at being an actual car.

And Chevy completely discontinued the cheapest base model (1LS) for model year 2024.
