I have no experience with the Toyo R888R. Theyre supposed to work great for straight line grip. They were a road race tire so lateral grip will be up there. Everything i read about them theyre super noisy but perfrom good.

I run a Michelin Pilot 4S in the front and Nitto NT555RII in the rear. The nitto is as quiet as and comfortable as the 4S that used to be on the rear. It spins at little in 2nd when boost comes in. Its a manageable spin. 3rd gear has never been an issue from 60mph.

The 4S was a phenomenal tire at 513whp, 285s on all corners. Not sure how it would handle another 100-150whp as i went from that 500 directly to 800..... but it was awesome at 500. Could do a 40 roll in 1st gear and it would take that hit and not spin.

If you want a drag/road tire youre looking at the Toyo R888R, Nitto NT555RII or the Mickey Street ET Street SS.

Dedicated drag tire Nitto NT05R, Mickey Thompson ET Street R or Toyo RR
