I believe historically the SEC has a run oriented offense and the Big 12 a passing offense. Sometimes you need ball control to win games and passing leaves too much time. Last year everyone knew that Tech would kill Ole Miss including me, until they played, they knew GT would demolish LSU until they played and they knew Alabama would kill Utah UNTIL they played. For whatever reasons that those teams lost I feel confident that Alabama will not let that happen again. Just like when Texas played Colorado, from what I saw Colorado outplayed Texas and if the Colorado QB would have played a little bit better might be a different ending. Alabama probably played it's worst game against Tenn and still won. I think that Alabama took LSU's heart late in the game, they couldn't play for laying on the field. Alabama may not win the NC this year but I think that they will beat Florida and whomever they play will know that they have been in a real football game by the time it is over.
Truly I have not seen many Texas games but know that it revolves around 2 players McCoy and Shipley. They have some other receivers and Childs is a duel threat guy but do not think that McCoy will run alot on Bama. It's going to be interesting

Bama lost to Utah because Saban still had Tebow's foot in his Ass.
That team spirit done broke.
