So, I go down to the body shop because they "needed to get some codes" off the car to paint the bumper. Well, it turns out that they actually wanted to see if the original bumper could just be sanded where it got hit and "spot painted" with new clear coat on the whole bumper "so it would match closer". Since the plastic was actually dented that can't be done. So, they will get it painted and call me next week sometime to install. Then, the great news....."it won't be a perfect match, but it will be VERY close." WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So....just a word of warning......if not a perfect match, I will no longer own IOM #57763 camaro......it will be theirs again and I will go elsewhere. This is bull#$#t!!! I ordered a brand new car and got a damaged car that may never completely match again?!?!?!?! I am just so frustrated. At this point, I am no longer excited about the car and now have a permafrown instead of a permagrin! Sorry for the rant, but it is either rant or cry!!!
