Susan I guess I need to know a little more of what area you are talking about. The "lower side of the bottom grill piece" is a little confusing. If its the bottom of the front bumper... in the center yes there is a piece for that. Not sure why this wouldnt be covered. You got a VERY good price on that... in fact I am nto sure how he really made any money on your install. Well I am taking it that you got the hood and fenders done along with the lights.

By the way I am sure your installer meant he has been doing tint for 26 years. Paint protection film has not been out that long. The earliest I have heard of it being used was the mid 90s... this film was originally used by the millitary over in the Iraq for protecting helicopter rotors and aircraft from sand. It took a while but someone finally figured out it could be used on vehicles. So the mid 90s is when it was first being used and it was all custom cutting... which almost killed the industry since nearly all of the installers were cutting the paint up. Using plotters for cutting patterns started around 1999-2000.
