There do seem to be a few topics that generate some heated discussions or opinions, but do as Moose (Ed) suggested and report the post, or contact a moderator. You have the ultimate authority however, in that you can just skip over those topics. If you notice a trend that it seems to be certain individuals that post things that offend you, put them on your ignore list.
You'll never be able to control the behaviors of others, you'll be far less frustrated if you don't try. Spend your time in a way that makes you happy, if this place frustrates you so much, maybe one solution is to spend less time here.
However, if you have genuine questions, you'll get very helpful responses for the most part. There really are some great people here, but no you won't like everyone!
