2010 was early for a number of reasons. From now on, new models will be released on a normal schedule unless there is a major refresh or new generation, either of which won't be for a number of years.

You do realize that adjusting shades/offering new colours for different model years pretty much the norm for any car, and its been that way for decades.

The Camaro isn't the only car they have to think about when these decisions are made. The Impala uses the same paint booth. The Camaro sales volume is nearly irrelevant next to the Impala.

we don't. I remember an 'official' list that got 'leaked' back in late december 2007 or very early january 2008. I think less than half were correct.

Probably because there are more people who would like either a lighter or a dark blue than would be content with just one medium blue.
