people automatically assume that the camaro is starting at 40k with statements like that on those boards. and it's utterly false. a 2SS comes with just about every option you could want besides the ones I didn't add in.
I've had friends that drive mustangs/challengers tell me that the camaro starts out at 40k. I asked where did they hear that and they told me the internet and they also look at dealer mark ups. I laugh and tell them to look around and shop around.
btw who said anything about the GT500 being price compared? as tested in an autoweek article both gt and camaro were 35k. that was my point. people assume the camaro SS is outragous in price and it's not.

Aren't you the feisty one pumpkin. I think you need to understand something, the dealers around you, are not the same dealers around us. I have seen ridiculous prices for that car. Not to mention, the almighty dealer mark up. I can not, and would not justify paying 35-38k for that car, and then add another 7-10k just for appearance modifications/ect...
