I do hope this particular situation at the very least opens up some "Law enforcement officers" eyes and others as to the dangers of speeding. Forget about covering it up as we all know that is just criminal behavior whenever implemented. For those of you (and you know who you are) that on occasion speed because you have the Camaro, cop car, or any other fast vehicle, just know what you can expect if you abuse the speed limit to the excesses that this police officer did. Everyday on the radio you hear of multiple crashes where deaths are involved and perhaps many become immune of them. In Latin America they actually show the graphic pictures of the dead on the cover of newspapers so the results of the accidents are much more in the eyes of the public. I'm sure a crime scene photo of these two teens in the car would further open everyone's eyes of the dangers of speeding. With that said we all speed form time to time. Most of the time intentionally and most of the time its not excessive. However all it takes is one time and we change our lives and someone elses forever. Just be safe, be careful on the road and if you're a police officer, try and lead by example and follow the rules of the road until called upon. That is all I ask of you.
