Don't like the weight? Blame your friendly federal gubment and their boatload of REGULATIONS. In today's GM cars, you could practically drive off a cliff and survive with all of the built-in safety equipment. (stability control, traction control, front/side/head airbag systems, ABS, heavier door beams and rocker panel stiffeners....oh, don't forget about all the electronic crap to monitor and control this stuff. OOOPS, forgot about all of the emissions controls too. Now add power seats, windows, locks, wham-jam stereos and amps, extra sound deadeners...it's freakin ridiculous!
But you can smash head-on into a bridge if you want! At least this car has a near perfect 50/50 front/rear weight bias!
